Executive Director's Report: Winter 2010
...our annual audit is in conformity with accounting principles...
THURSDAY JANUARY 21, 2010

I want to personally thank all of you who have so faithfully given to BCC during 2009 and to those who remembered BCC in their year-end giving.  God has provided for this ministry through you, and I am deeply thankful.

As this ministry continues to multiply in counseling locations and teaching opportunities we are trusting God to increase the number of persons, families, churches, and businesses who will pray and give to see this ministry continue to expand both at home and around the world.

In the beginning of January, I received a letter from Givens and Barnes, our CPA, stating that our annual audit is “in conformity with accounting principles and that the financial position of Biblical Counseling Center is presented fairly in all material respects.”   I trust that our conscientious stewardship and our on-going membership in the Evangelical Counsel for Financial Accountability will give you confidence in giving to BCC throughout the coming year.

We have two spring seminars scheduled.  If you have never been to one of our counseling training seminars, take a look at our “Upcoming BCC Opportunities” to see which seminar is closest to you.  Please pray for Sherry and me as we teach in Alba Iulia, Romania the last two weeks of February. Continue to pray for our Southside Office in Lynwood IL.  We are presently counseling on Mondays and Tuesdays and hope to sign a lease for permanent office space by the end of January.  Pray also for our Fox Lake Office that opened in September.  Jeff Temple is leading the development of that office and is counseling there on Thursdays.  Interest continues to grow in that area and Pastors are expressing a desire to have a Foundations Seminar in that area.  We will keep you posted.

With Sincere Thankfulness, Dr. Ron Allchin
