We believe Scripture is sufficient to address life's struggles and that lasting change comes through the gospel. Our counseling is rooted in Scripture, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit. We are not opposed to medical care or medication when appropriate, but our primary focus is spiritual formation and Christ-centered change.

Counseling addresses a season of struggle; discipleship and community are for life. Without intentional church involvement, many people finish counseling but drift from meaningful care. The Care Partner model ensures counseling strengthens the church's care rather than replaces it, and that people have support long after counseling ends.

We counsel for a wide range of struggles including anxiety, depression, grief, marriage conflict, parenting challenges, addiction, and trauma. We refer out for psychiatric emergencies, inpatient needs, or specialized medical care, and we communicate clearly when something is beyond our scope.

Church leaders may contact BCC by phone or email with basic information. Network Partners receive priority scheduling—our goal is that Network Partners are able to have appointments within the same week of referral.

We are based in the Chicago area with offices in Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, DuPage County, and Northwest Indiana. Most counselors offer telehealth, making care accessible regardless of location.

Monthly support helps cover the administration of the church partnership and ensures updated care resources are available. Organizations and businesses may participate at comparable or custom levels.

• Small Church (under 150 attendance): $25/month
• Medium Church (150–500 attendance): $75/month
• Large Church (500–2000 attendance): $150/month

This model is a partnership approach where churches contribute toward counseling costs alongside their members.

For example, a counselee may pay $45 per session while the church contributes $30. It reduces financial barriers while reinforcing a shared responsibility for care.

Churches may provide this to all members or on a case-by-case basis.

Yes. Care Partners and Network Partners may discontinue at any time. Network Partners are asked to provide 30 days' notice to ensure continuity of care for anyone currently receiving counseling.

Our counselors hold Master's degrees or higher and have formal training in counseling and theology. They are committed to helping people grow in faith through Christ-centered care marked by grace and truth. BCC has more than twenty highly qualified counselors who counsel both in person and online.
