Church Story 1: A number of years ago we came alongside a Chicago church and helped them set up a successful counseling center within their walls to meet the needs of people with family and marriage issues and with other problems — from addiction to financial struggles to porn to anger/fear/depression, you name it. Within weeks of the counseling center’s opening, hurting people heard the power of God’s Word and received care. Lives were changed, God got the glory. The church is stronger than ever. It is reaching out to the community and more people are getting help and most important: the gospel!
Church Story 2: This spring four couples at another church in the Midwest decided to launch a counseling center at their church. They needed candid instruction from BCC trainers as well as equipping in biblical counseling. This group — now half way through training — has a vision to share the timeless truth of God’s Word and bring about practical change in broken people’s lives. Our conversations with them as well as our Launch strategies have encouraged them and given them a path to follow and support.
