As our Caring Like Christ mini-course winds down, what’s your next best step?
Before we go there, let’s step here: quick links to all the mini-course training videos: Welcome, Biblical Shepherding, Reaching the Heart, Sanctification Understood, and Deciding to Get Involved.
What Is God Saying?
This mini-course is slice of our 24-session Foundations in Biblical Counseling training course. Foundations covers biblical counseling basics, handling difficult emotions (like anger, depression, and fear), helping struggling families and marriages–and more. It is the first of three courses in our Level 1 Certification.
Are you sensing that God wants you to help the hurting in your church and community? Yes? Then the Spirit may be nudging you to invest in biblical counseling training.
As you may know, Galatians 6:1 and other scriptures calls all Christians to restore one another to usefulness in the church, beginning with the family. Listen to these gracious words:
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
Your Next Best Step
You are a unique person, fearfully and wonderfully made according to Psalm 139:14. Your next best step differs from your friend’s.
Maybe you are not ready for biblical counseling training. Perhaps you need personal or marriage counseling. Or could God be prompting you to start a biblical counseling ministry in your church or community?
The possibilities are endless and exciting.
We’ve had many conversations with people in our Caring Like Christ mini-course, eager to get our Certification in Biblical Counseling. Humbled and awed describes our response.
